There is a good news for all the assessees who have not filed the income tax return in the new form notified i.e.(ITR-1 to ITR-8), but have filed in the old form following the Highcourt Judgements i.e. Allahabad, Guwahati, Rajasthan.
They can all file their return for the Financial year ended March 31, 2007 due to be filed upto July 31, 2007 & October 31, 2007 by February 29, 2007 (subject to certain conditions), without incurring any penalty or interest for late filing of return. This is true even for Corporates,Partnership Firm, Artificial Juridical Bodies like temples, trusts & Association of Person such as Joint Ventures, besides individuals and HUFs
